What are cuddle critters?

Think weighted blanket meets oversized stuffed animal.

Cuddle critters are my unique creation that I came up with because I have a lot of friends with ADHD, sensory needs, and anxiety to name a few things. While there are lots of items out there for kids, adults that take comfort in weighted blankets but want something more personal like a stuffed animal are often overlooked.

My cuddle critter design is around 3 feet long, 1.5-2 feet wide, and weigh anywhere from 8-15 pounds. Each critter is weighted with poly plastic beads in the legs and belly to give you the feel of getting a big hug.

I customize the weight to the preference of the customer. In addition to being weighted, across each critters back is my hug pocket. The hug pocket is a sleeve to wrap your arms in to hold your critter to you. Fun fact, my 7 year old can fit in this opening and climb through. I also finish each critter with a reversible sequin heart on the butt. This gives added sensory stimulation to those that need it.
