Whimsy Crafting
A little bit of whimsy, some sass, and lots of crafting
Who am I?
I am the mom that you see always volunteering to make something for school, bake something for teachers or coworkers, and always have multiple crafts in progress. When the pandemic hit, I suddenly had a lot more time on my hands and wanted to put my love of sewing and crafting to use. I started making masks like so many others. It was something I could do that made a difference to people. Then I wanted to make something that would provide comfort. From there, Whimsy Crafting was born.
It started with a cuddle critter I named Luna. She was my prototype, and after many variations, I have a working plan that I can adapt and personalize. This then led to a middle-of-the-night idea of making a giant soft, usable D20 for my kid, who loves D&D. From there, I started making personalized items, and now I have added 3d Printing to my crafting world.
